The kitchen Frame, designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini for Snaidero, has shown up to last Milan’s Design Week edition - Eurocucina 2018 - with a classic look of great international appeal: the designer describes it in an interview given during the Fair.
Performance and Evocation: these are a must in the kitchen according to the architect Iosa Ghini.
The space must be efficient and functional, and at the same time a place in which you live the kitchen and the relationships, a warm and functional place where, after your grocery shopping, you cook and feel good.
After all, since there are so many different lifestyles, even kitchen’s design solutions must keep up with them.
The kitchen Frame presented at the Milan’s Furniture Fair is quite opulent thanks to a large number of open shelving (replacing blind cabinets) and an iconic food preparation area enhanced by the distinctive design of the extractor hood, the heart of the domestic operations. The choice of Black Cosmic marble for the worktop is quite distinguished, as well as the stylish solutions to integrate the living space with a strong scenic impact, notably by integrating an elegant glass showcase.
The warm welcoming atmosphere of the Frame kitchen also transpires from the pieces of furniture decorating the spaces which encroach into the living area: sideboards with glass doors, display cabinets and open cupboards all add beauty to the surrounds.
The range hood is an essential design feature. In popular imagination, it represents the hearth and hub of family life. It comes in a 90, 120 or 180-cm wallmounted version or 150-cm island hood version with either a bronze or stainless-steel finish.
