EUROCUCINA 2012: SNAIDERO RETURNS FROM THE EVENT WITH OPTIMISM

Now that Eurocucina 2012 has drawn to a close, it's time to take stock.

The event was a success for Snaidero Group, starting from the positive comments expressed for the original stand - the work of renowned architect Angelo Mangiarotti - which was specifically designed to resemble the company's historical headquarters. The stand attracted crowds of visitors from various fields, including operators of the sector, journalists and informal visitors from both Italy and abroad.
Indeed, the 2012 edition of Eurocucina will be remembered for an international presence that went beyond the "traditional" European countries: distant regions such as South America, the Far East and Middle East participated to a greater extent than in the past, a fact that evidences the brand's attractiveness in countries where Italian lifestyle values are becoming increasingly popular and appreciated.

Snaidero presented four new additions at this year's Eurocucina fair, each defined by a significant search for new aesthetic and technological solutions.
 
The BOARD and LUX models - designed by architect Pietro Arosio, who collaborated with the Snaidero brand for the first time - attracted widespread interest and curiosity.
BOARD - a solution reflecting the new developments in the housing industry, which increasingly tends to offer compact environments and shared spaces without functional constraints - was presented in two versions: XS with arctic white high gloss lacquered doors and the typical 90 cm operating unit, and XL with smoke oak wooden doors and 120 cm operating unit.
The LUX project, with its bold character, displays rigorous lines coupled with evolved technical solutions, while the distinctive extractor hood offers - in the island version - the new floor extraction technology. The project was presented in the double matt lacquered coffee brown and linen beige version.

The two models stemming from the collaboration with designer Paolo Pininfarina, IDEA 40 and OLA 20, were presented as reissues of iconic projects of the Snaidero historical collection. They were greeted with widespread approval and enthusiasm denoting the fruitful collaboration that has been uniting Snaidero and Pininfarina Group for over 20 years. 
IDEA 40 (a reissue of the model 40 years after the first edition), a charming combination of design, rationality and excellent materials, balanced forms and technology, was presented in the bi-colour high gloss metallic mineral grey and Nordic white version; while OLA 20, which has earned cult status among the Snaidero range, was offered with two new solutions: the stately worktop support made of the innovative carbon fibre material, and the graphite grey satin glass worktop.

The last model on display was WAY, reissued in an original version with matt micalized cement grey and smoke oak wooden doors, and worktop with Lapitec Porcelain Stoneware finish: an innovative material blending the potential of ceramic with the consistency, elegance and naturalness of typical natural stone colours to create a refined combination of aesthetics and ultra-high resistance. The composition also included a feature that attracted much interest, namely the ionisation technology incorporated in the hood for island, which allows for purifying domestic air and guaranteeing a clean, healthy environment.

Lastly, the SNAIDERO DESIGN DAY - an initiative promoted during the exhibition in which the designers narrated the design process of the new additions - was once again widely appreciated by the public: the occasion allowed designers Paolo Pininfarina and Pietro Arosio to answer the numerous questions and queries of journalists, dealers and operators of the sector from all over the world.

Snaidero's solutions thus received plenty positive feedback from the numerous visitors at this year's Eurocucina fair: indeed, the new proposals were praised for their aesthetic sophistication, innovation of content and conformity to the evolving purchasing trends of final customers. This confirms the Italian brand's ability to offer solutions in line with the rapid evolution in home living styles.
