MINI COCONUT, GREEN APPLE AND AMARETTI PASTRY DESSERT

Let's see how to prepare this delicious, crunchy dessert that will mae a great impression on your friends at a dinner party.

This dessert can be enjoyed all year round and is suitable for every occasion. 

INGREDIENTS:
FOR THE PASTRY
2 sheets of phyllo dough 
chopped coconut
100 g of melted chocolate
1 egg

FOR THE FILLING:
250 g of peeled and seeded apples
300 g of sugar
100 g of water
lemon zest
50 g of amaretti biscuits

PREPARATION:
Roll out the phyllo dough on baking paper and a baking tray. Paint the pastry with a beaten egg. Gently cut squares into the pastry with a sharp knife. Place in the oven for 5 minutes at 170 degrees. Allow to cool. Brush pastry with melted chocolate. Sprinkle coconut on top. Allow to cool. For the apple sauce, cut the apples into medium sized pieces. Create a syrup with water and sugar boiled together. Place both the diced apples and syrup in a bag and steam at 100 degrees for 25 minutes. Drain the apples from the syrup. Leave to cool. Place repetitive layers of apple, crumbled amaretti and pastry.
