“Snaidero kitchens,” commented CEO Massimo Manelli, “are ambassadors of Italian excellence across the world and synonymous with consummate craftsmanship and Italy’s unique passion for design and absolute quality. We create unique products that unite functionality and sustainability, combining design, distinctiveness and style to offer a kitchen product that can increasingly interpret the needs and requirements of our customers, while increasing our level of service to the market. This competition was another opportunity to raise our profile among industry insiders in Russia and we would like to thank our partner FTF for involving us in this award.”
The goal of the contest was to demonstrate the Snaidero brand’s versatility through a consideration of 3 fundamental themes explored in 3D projects:
“Work in contrast”: to create an interior design project that stylistically contrasts with Pininfarina’s Ola and Vision models
“Contemporary today and tomorrow”: to create a timeless project through one of Snaidero’s most iconic models, the FRAME kitchen by Massimo Iosa Ghini
“Kitchen as part of the living space”: starting from the latest model by Andreucci and Hoisl, “Link”, or using “Way” one of the collection’s must-haves, the goal was to imagine a space that integrates the kitchen and living room
A jury of industry professionals including Massimo Iosa Ghini – architect, designer (Iosa Ghini Associati) –, Ivan Ceschiutti – Export Director at Snaidero –, Mukanaev Anatoly – CEO of FTF interior –, Marco Ziani – Snaidero brand representative in Russia (HOME by Marco Ziani), Ksenia Bandorina – Russian design analyst (St. Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design) –, and Jenny Yasnets – designer, decorator (Art Spice Studio) – nominated the winning projects: Pomekhina (St. Petersburg) with the “White Color” project in the “Work on contrast” category, featuring Pininfarina’s “Vision” kitchen, Artemij Sharonov (St. Petersburg) with “Geometry in details” in the “Contemporary today and tomorrow” project, featuring Massimo Iosa Ghini’s “Frame” kitchen, and Aleksandr Sevast’janov (Voronezh) with the “Eve” project in the “Kitchen as part of the living space” category, featuring the most recent Snaidero kitchen, Link by Andreucci & Hoisl.
The 3 finalists will be awarded with a trip to Milan for the next Salone del Mobile and a dedicated tour of the Snaidero world.
