The design that defines our kitchens

The collaboration is one of the longest-lasting and most significant in the furniture industry. Ola (1990) introduces a language of softness and sculpted shapes, applied to the kitchen for the first time. Acropolis (2003) redefines the kitchen as a place of centrality, with a circular island that becomes the focal point of the home. Ola 20 (2010) evolves the concept towards even sharper lines and a strong aesthetic distinction. Vision (2018) takes research into the purity of surfaces and formal continuity to the max. A design path that has revolutionised the way we understand the kitchen as a total design object.

An iconic figure in international architecture and design, Gae Aulenti has designed some of the world's most important museum projects. His approach combines rigour, design culture and a constant pursuit of innovation. With Etra in 1993, he brought a new vision to Snaidero: a kitchen that explored innovation through clear architectural shapes, refined materials and a sophisticated balance between function and character. A project that anticipates the languages of contemporary minimalism.

The Lucci & Orlandini studio interprets design as a service to people: ergonomics, ease of use and formal clarity are the cornerstones of their research. The two designers work on solutions that improve everyday life with intelligence and discretion. With Skyline in 2004, which was also born as part of the Universal Design projects, they brought attention to inclusivity: a kitchen designed to be accessible, user-friendly and flexible for everyone, regardless of age or ability.

His signature can be recognised in soft shapes, harmonious proportions and constant research into the relationship between space, light and matter. With Frame in 2017, he interprets classic proportions with a contemporary twist, creating a kitchen that liaises with tradition and modernity through refined details and prized materials.
