The design that defines our kitchens

A journey that stems from pioneering collaborations, bringing unique identities to life. A design that weaves together different know-how, creative intuition and Italian craftsmanship, driven by a constant passion for innovation.

The story of the Snaidero logo

In 1966, Michele Provinciali designed a logo with a unique typeface, where each element is harmoniously combined, just like our modular kitchens. Rino Snaidero adds two orange bands: one for wall units, one for base units. Lines that tell the tale of functionality, elegance and attention to detail. In 2024, a slight restyling made it more contemporary, without losing the history and soul that make it Snaidero: the beauty of an idea that evolves while remaining true to itself.

Collaborations and project friendships

Over the years, we have been fortunate to collaborate with great masters of design and architecture: Angelo Mangiarotti, Pininfarina, Michele Sbrogiò, Massimo Iosa Ghini, and many others. We refer to them as friends, as every project stems from open dialogue and mutual respect. Together, we have shaped designer kitchens that have become icons of style and innovation, true hallmarks on the international design scene.

One of the most innovative architects and designers on the Italian scene in the 1960s, Virgilio Forchiassin anticipated many of the contemporary housing logics. His work investigates the transformability and flexibility of spaces, themes that were unheard of then and are central today. For Snaidero, he designed Spazio Vivo in 1968, one of the first truly modular kitchens, where each element can be reconfigured according to requirements. A pioneering project that introduces a new way of conceiving the kitchen as a dynamic and adaptable system for modern living.

Prizes and Awards

Each award received is a stage in a shared journey. From the Honourable Mention of the Compasso d'Oro to the Good Design Award, the awards that have accompanied our history testify to a consistent vision: to create kitchens where aesthetics and functionality come together naturally. For us, design is an everyday value, not an achievement.
