Pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Regulation’), this page describes how users' personally identified or identifiable data are processed.

Using the website involves the processing of the following data:

NAVIGATION DATA

In the course of their normal operation, the computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected in order to be associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could, through processing and association with data held by third parties, allow users to be identified.

This category of data includes the IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by users connecting to the site, the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator) notation addresses of the resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server (successful, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment.

Such processing is to be considered legitimate insofar as it is functional to the navigation of the site requested by the user (Art. 6 paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the Regulation).

The storage of navigation data will be limited to the time strictly necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the site and provide the navigation requested by the user. This period will generally not exceed six months, except in cases where longer storage periods are necessary to meet legal or security requirements or to perform anonymised statistical analyses. At the end of this period, personal data will be deleted, unless they are needed for legal purposes or dispute resolution.

DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY THE DATA SUBJECT

The data provided by sending requests via the contact form on the website, as well as for the purpose of creating a personalised account on the website in order to make use of the related functionalities, are processed in order to respond to the requests of the person concerned (Art. 6, paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the Regulation) and are stored for a maximum period of 12 months and/or for the duration of the session, without prejudice to legal obligations.

COOKIES

Cookies are used within the website. The data acquired via cookies are retained for a period that varies depending on the type of cookie, but not exceeding 24 months.

Such processing is to be considered legitimate insofar as it is functional to the navigation of the site requested by the user (Art. 6, paragraph 1, letters b) and c) of the Regulation) and, subject to the acquisition of consent through the website banner, for statistical and marketing purposes (Art. 6, paragraph 1, letter a) of the Regulation)

DATA PROCESSING METHODS

Data are processed with the aid of electronic or automated means and with organisational and processing logics strictly related to the purposes themselves and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data in order to reduce the risks of destruction or loss, unauthorised access, modification and unauthorised disclosure.

With exclusive reference to navigation data and IP addresses, this website may share some of the data collected with services located outside Italy and the European Union area, in particular, with Google through Google Analytics services. In the event that this should become necessary for any reason, Snaidero hereby assures you that the transfer of data will take place in compliance with the applicable legal provisions.

RECIPIENTS OF PERSONAL DATA

The data may be communicated to parties designated by the undersigned, pursuant to Article 28 of the Regulation, as data processors (e.g. service providers for the management of the IT system) and to public authorities to comply with legal obligations.

The personal data collected are also processed by the Controller's staff, who act on the basis of specific authorisations and instructions given regarding the purposes and methods of processing.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECTS

Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation (EU) 679/2016 grant the data subject the exercise of specific rights, including those to obtain from the controller confirmation of the existence or otherwise of their personal data and their communication in an intelligible form; to have knowledge of the origin of the data, the purposes and methods on which the processing is based, as well as the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of IT tools; to obtain the cancellation or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, the updating, rectification or, if there is interest, the integration of the data and their portability, as well as to oppose their processing for legitimate reasons.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
