Despite a world crisis which is putting even the most solid economies to the test, Turkey – which is ranked 17th in the world economy and is the 6th economic power among the 27 countries in the European Union - still has a dynamic property market and is ready to invest on quality products and brands. The top-end market is expanding rapidly in Turkey. Experts estimate that approximately 10 per cent of the population has a lifestyle that can afford to purchase designer and luxury goods. This means at least 7 million potential customers, for a catchment area which reaches 5 billion Dollars and is destined to expand further.
Snaidero jumped at the chance and has been busy over recent weeks organising deliveries for two major projects: one - project Canan – consists of fitting 180 kitchens in an important residential area of Istanbul by the end of 2009, the other – project Koraj – envisages the supply of a generous 385 kitchens in Burjak, with deliveries distributed between 2009 and 2010. Both projects were made possible thanks to the strength of a historic brand of Made in Italy design - Snaidero – and to the success of the company's relationship - confirmed over the years - with its Turkish partner Eng. Bulent Durlanik, who works for the important company, Cankutaran and who had made it possible to sign the first deals in 2007, such as the project for the installation of over 1,200 kitchens in the three most prestigious residential complexes under construction in Istanbul, project In City, consisting of villas and top-end apartments.
Reaching this objective confirms the brand’s strength in offering a refined design product, entirely Made in Italy, supported by high-level components and materials, and also the company’s ability to produce large quantities of customised kitchens in very short time frames according to the customer’s specific requirements.
What’s more, new quotes have been made in recent months with the new product, “Orange”, appreciated by architects due to its appeal as a designer quality kitchen, which is also simple and competitive.
Snaidero’s history with the Contract sector is not recent: indeed, it started in the 1990s in the United States, when a growth opportunity was found in the property sector, linked to the development of "luxury" residential properties. From then on, the exclusive kitchens made in the Friuli region began to “populate” prestigious apartments in American skyscrapers: from 1992 to date, more than 7,000 kitchens have been fitted throughout North America and projects include contracts at the Jade Residence in Miami, the MGM in Las Vegas, the Aspac in Vancouver and also at the Chicago Trump Tower very soon. Significant results, which rank Snaidero as the leading Italian brand in America on the multi-housing luxury market. The projects completed in the United States were succeeded in the years that followed by contracts won in China, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea. Recently, luxury apartments in Dubai have been fitted with Snaidero kitchens. For Snaidero, the Contract segment, and so the supply of turnkey kitchens for buildings and new urban areas, is an opportunity to grab and, seeing the success so far, it will be one of the ways to react to the far from positive consumer trends on the traditional markets.
